What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform chairside assistance in all dental treatment procedures
- Follow instructions from the Supervisor and assist in assigned department
- Ensure efficient and smooth workflow during dental procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dental instruments and equipment
- Provide support to the dental team as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Relevant coursework/specialized training or equivalent
- Minimum of six months post high school education/experience related to Dentistry
- Certification as a dental assistant or ability to obtain a dental assistant certificate within one year of hire date
- Knowledge of dental terminology
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Graduation from an accredited dental assisting program
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook
- Ability to work independently and problem solve
- Knowledge of infection control protocols
