What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist dentists during procedures and ensure patient comfort
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including sterilization of instruments
- Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Manage patient records and appointments efficiently
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must have completed a dental assistant program or have equivalent work experience
- X-ray license and CPR card or willingness to obtain immediately upon hire
- Strong work ethic and excellent communication skills
- Proven ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Motivated self-starter with a commitment to patient care
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience as a dental assistant in a clinical setting
- Additional certifications in dental specialties
- Familiarity with dental software and technology
- Bilingual skills, particularly in Spanish
- Experience working in a military-friendly environment
