    • Supports department-wide clerical needs (e.g., copies for common final exams, supply orders, budget spreadsheets, etc.)
    • Processes timesheets, budget spreadsheets. and electronic calendar scheduling
    • Creates graphics for digital signage around campus
    • Assists with data entry, spreadsheet maintenance, and chart/graph creation
    • Works closely with other department secretaries and administrative assistants to support the needs that exist across the school
    • Assists with the preparation of standardized testing administration as needed and in partnership with the testing coordinator
    • Adheres to Board of Education policies and procedures
    • Data entry for Certified Staff PD in Frontline Professional Growth (Thursday Collaboration)
    • Back-up to the Faculty Secretary/Substitute Coordinator
    • Supports Admin with building Summer School Course Catalog
    • Supports Admin with all communications/correspondence with Summer School families, rising 9th-grade families, and current families
    • Performs other job-related duties as assigned by the direct supervisors
    • Lake Forest High School District 115 is seeking a 10-month, 7.5 hour/day Department Assistant to Instructional Directors.


      Description: The Department Assistant directly supports the Social Studies, Math, English, and Science Instructional Directors and the World Language Department Chair with clerical tasks that fall under their roles and responsibilities.

      Salary and Benefits:

      Physical Demands
      While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, and reach. The employee is occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, push, pull, and lift. Repetitive motions are required, especially for keyboarding which involves substantial movements of the wrists, hands and/or fingers. The employee must lift and/or move up to 10 pounds of force frequently. Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

      Work Environment
      While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly subject to inside environmental conditions and is subject to noises associated with both office and educational environments.
