      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Coordinate high-speed internet and digital equity-related mapping activities and data collection
      - Analyze and interpret large datasets related to broadband access, affordability, and adoption in the state
      - Collaborate with contractors, partners, and colleagues to develop new broadband and digital equity map layers
      - Provide technical support for the Michigan High-Speed Internet Office and other state agencies
      - Maintain and troubleshoot broadband maps, dashboards, and data collection systems

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major; a degree in a relevant field such as geographic information systems, geography, or urban planning is preferred
      - Minimum of three years of professional experience, including one year equivalent to the experienced (P11) level in state service
      - At least three years of experience in geospatial data analysis, data research, or related work experience
      - Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and manage large datasets
      - Must possess a valid Michigan Driver's License

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with broadband or telecommunications industry knowledge
      - Demonstrated proficiency in creating interactive geospatial products
      - Familiarity with federal funding processes related to broadband and digital equity initiatives
