What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Issue new and amended consumer finance license certificates and process renewals
- Maintain the consumer finance licensing database and assist with license applications
- Analyze complex statutes and policy forms for consumer-friendly communication
- Collaborate with colleagues and management to address issues and improve processes
- Participate in employee development training and webinars
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major
- For Departmental Analyst 10: One year of professional experience
- For Departmental Analyst P11: Two years of professional experience, including one year at the intermediate (10) level in state service
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing
- Strong analytical skills to interpret complex information

- Familiarity with consumer finance laws and regulations
- Previous experience in a role involving consumer protection or financial services
