      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Interpret and explain student loan laws, rules, and regulations to stakeholders
      - Review and analyze newly enacted federal laws, rules, and regulations affecting student loans
      - Monitor and assess the effectiveness of internal claims and collections processes
      - Conduct liaison activities with lender servicers and other agencies to support collection efforts
      - Research and respond to inquiries regarding student loan accounts and policies

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major
      - Minimum of one year of professional experience for Departmental Analyst 10 level
      - Minimum of two years of professional experience for Departmental Analyst P11 level, including one year at the intermediate (10) level in state service
      - Experience in consumer collections and knowledge of legal proceedings related to loans is preferred
      - Ability to work onsite in Michigan on Tuesdays and Wednesdays

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in reviewing consumer loan accounts
      - Knowledge of federal student loan regulations and best practices
      - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications
      - Military experience at or above the E-6 level may qualify for educational substitutions
      - Experience in customer service in an office setting
