      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Analyze, verify, coordinate, and reconcile assigned project budgets
      - Maintain and reconcile requisitions, purchase orders, and payment processes for county and state bond projects
      - Prepare and analyze budget reports for management decision-making
      - Research and analyze the fiscal history of building programs with multiple projects
      - Ensure compliance with Board policies and financial regulations

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Associate's degree in business, accounting, or a closely related field
      - Minimum of five years of experience in finance or accounting
      - Considerable knowledge of generally accepted accounting practices and principles
      - Strong skills in budget, purchasing, and procurement procedures
      - Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in both oral and written forms

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's degree in business or accounting
      - Knowledge of Wake County Public School System (WCPSS) financial systems and processes
      - Experience working with Oracle-based accounting systems
