1. Understanding of process deliverables such as PFDs, UFDs, P&IDs, basis of design, process descriptions, equipment specifications, plant/item schedules, etc.
2. Process optimization, optioneering and design substantiation considering efficiency, life cycle and performance curve.
3. Development of process control schemes, Operational philosophies and devising equipment operational logics.
4. Development of process integration SOPs.
5. Review of vendor drawings/documents, P&IDs, PFDs, etc.
6. Production of deliverables such as design definition and substantiation documents, design basis, process description, equipment data sheet and specifications, system performance test specifications.
7. Liaising with all stakeholders and responsible for all technical issues related to their area of specialization.
8. Co-ordination with other discipline specialists where areas interface or overlap exist.
9. Preparation of equipment specifications, plant schedules, technical risk assessments, and commissioning strategies, cost, and programmed estimations, etc.
