1. Job responsibilities :
· Lead and be responsible for your teams in terms of personnel (disciplinary responsibility), content, capability and related budgets/financial planning and control of the respective team/project units.
· Overall lead for the deliverables of relevant projects and operations, ensuring success in terms of adherence to standards of quality and budget, as well as to schedules.
· Establish and sustain necessary cooperation with stakeholders at relevant BU and IT units, participate in appropriate review rounds, and provide regular status updates & reports.
· Ensure appropriate team capacity & capability, including necessary recruitment initiatives – internal & external staff – in coordination HR & Suppliers, and in alignment to IT management’s guidelines.
· Coordinate with various business stakeholders such as Finance, Procurement, HR, Facilities etc. to ensure necessary processes and resources are enabled/made available for the teams to deliver their responsibilities effectively.
· Drive a culture of continuous improvement & innovation and strive to push quality standards as a part of project deliverables and ensure sustained contribution to various innovation initiatives within MBRDI
· Support & contribute to the key management strategies & priorities of Mercedes-Benz AG & IT @ MBRDI such as Game Changers, ShiftRight, Product Orientation, etc.
· Preferably, candidates with a background in team building or leadership, particularly in managing lending applications such as contract management systems or CRM platforms like Salesforce.
· An advantage would be a solid grasp of financial services, lending, credit, and leasing domains.
· Worked within regulatory frameworks, IT security, emphasizing strict compliance and robust data protection protocols.
Leadership Skills:
Support & contribute to the key management strategies & priorities of Mercedes-Benz AG & IT @ MBRDI, Keep the team connected with the existing MB Tech strategies to have a motivated workforce; Take overall ownership of Business projects and solutions within the COC

Talent Development: Mentor and develop a skilled workforce (Staff and People Leaders) through sustained people development initiatives for future readiness; Create career growth and learning paths for team members to enable them successfully drive MB Tech India projects.
Collaboration: Lead and encourage cross-functional departmental activities to build knowledge Integration and promote a culture of co-creation & innovation; Support your department leader with strategies for a healthy and sustained collaboration with MBAG stakeholders for sustained Business relationships
Stakeholder Satisfaction: Establish and sustain necessary cooperation with global and local stakeholders at relevant BU and IT units for enhanced Business results, participate in appropriate review rounds (counterpart and department Leadership meetings) and provide regular status updates/reports and insights to ensure a high level of stakeholder satisfaction.
Financial Stewardship: Support the leader with right data and insights to efficiently manage the financial planning of the department, optimize manpower utilization, and oversee the budget effectively.
Compliance and Governance: Ensure statutory compliance and internal policies are not compromised and any non-adherence is timely addressed with relevant actions.

• 15+ years of professional experience in the tech/software engineering area
• Strong communication & command on tech leadership
• Well-built people leadership skills
• Managed cross-divisional integration work on global level
• Proven record of Business acquisition and solutioning for new topics/setup
• Experience in driving digitalization projects
• Contributed to Innovation and Business expansion for the portfolio – abreast of latest technologies to lead innovation at work
• Analytical skills to enable data driven decisions & ability to comprehend and address complex situations in Business
• Adept in stakeholder management with good interpersonal skills
• Intercultural awareness, empathy, active driver of diversification & inclusion
• Business Fluent English
• German Language skills will be an added advantage
