      Deputy Program Manager for Technical Integration

      PNT SE&I provides engineering, integration, technical analysis, and subject matter expertise (SME) support to the US Space Force. As a member of our PNT SE&I Team, you'll work in a fast-paced environment with Government personnel and systems engineers to manage financial planning, tracking, reporting, and support business processes and operations.

      SAIC is seeking a Deputy Program Manager for Technical Integration to join the Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) Team. A successful candidate will support the team with a focus on technical leadership, including coordinating and leading resolution of enterprise-level technical issues, conducting product technical assessments, mentoring junior technical staff, and ensuring technical baseline updates and corrections are tracked and accomplished.

      Major duties of this position include:

      1. Provide technical leadership and direction to meet customer, program, and quality requirements.
      2. Maintain awareness of relevant technical issues and concerns, providing recommendations.
      3. Coordinate and lead the resolution of enterprise-level technical issues, engage with the SE&I team, document resolutions, and ensure technical baseline updates and corrections are tracked and completed.
      4. Conduct product technical assessments to ensure solutions are integrated and meet customer needs prior to delivery.
      5. Manage and review program execution to meet or exceed performance work statement (PWS) requirements for technical, schedule, cost, and quality performance; perform hiring, supervision, and performance assessments.
      6. Support process improvement and innovation, applying proven practices to identify impediments or mitigate risks, and ensure effective communication and collaboration across the team.
      7. Identify opportunities to leverage corporate staff, processes, or tools, and ensure proper collection of metrics to measure execution effectiveness.

      Qualifications:

      • Master's Degree with 12+ Years of engineering experience.
      • Active TS/SCI Clearance.
      • Demonstrated leadership skills in the Aerospace or DoD, working across space and ground segment organizations to coordinate system integration requirements ensuring end-to-end mission performance.
      • Experience as a team, project, or program manager on performance-based contracts for the U.S. Government, including developing cost and schedule deliverables, managing baseline costs and schedules, and risk management. Experience working with Air Force/DoD customers in an acquisition environment with space and/or ground systems.
      • Experience in writing and delivering documents and briefings, with strong interpersonal skills to work with diverse personnel and teams.
      • Knowledge and experience with Global Positioning System missions and systems.

      Desired qualifications include:

      • Experience with DoD or NRO programs involving space and ground systems engineering.
      • Model-Based and/or Software engineering systems practices.
      • Familiarity with Agile execution methods and tools.

      Target salary range: $160,001 - $200,000. This estimate reflects typical salaries based on experience and other factors. SAIC accepts applications continuously, with no deadline.
