What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide technical assistance to computer users via phone, email, and instant messaging
- Resolve user problems through trouble ticket responses and expert technical support
- Perform clerical and administrative duties related to remote assistance
- Maintain audit trails and statistical records of reported issues
- Escalate technical issues to vendors and third-party entities as necessary
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Public Trust Clearance by start date
- ITILv4 Foundation Training and Certification, to be obtained within 120 days after hire
- 2-7 years of experience in technical support roles
- Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Strong oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with staff and clients
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- One year of experience with Windows and/or Mac desktop support
- One year of experience with smartphone support and remote support tools
- Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Slack, and ServiceNow
- Willingness to work a variety of shifts, including holidays
