Job Description

- Fluid mechanical development related to separation technology products. Development of new products and product optimization in collaboration with corresponding R&D teams
- Development and maintenance of in-house simulation tools, codes for automatization and evaluation purposes and predictive forecast toolkits
- Development of advanced simulation methodologies for product development
- Independently executes and manages CFD based flow investigation studies for commercial projects including simulation and presentation of technical results covering wide range of products and applications in the Portfolio of Chemtech in oil & gas and general industries (e.g. scrubbers, multiphase separators, sloshing studies and mixer applications)
- Technical support of sales and engineering department on issues related to fluid dynamics
- Contributing to global technical exchange and providing advanced fluid mechanical know-how trainings
- Direct contact with internal and external customers and defining the project objective based on client’s technical specifications
- Efficient communication and presentation of technical results to wide range of external clients, internal staff, and scientific community
- Occasional travel requirements
- Master’s degree (or PhD) in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, computational science, physics, or applied mathematics
- Very strong fluid mechanics knowledge
- Experience with available CFD packages required in the field of multi-phase flows, experience with Ansys (CFX/Fluent) an advantage
- Excellent computer skills including programming
- Experience with 3D-CAD software an advantage
- Experience with data science an advantage
- You are interdisciplinary and flexible team player with analytical skills and strong communication and presentation skills
- Language skills: Fluency in English required, German an advantage.

As a Development Engineer FluidTechnology, you will contribute to R&D projects with advanced CFD and fluid mechanical expertise and you will drive the development of new simulation methodologies for R&D.
Join our Technology and Innovation team within Chemtech division in Research and Development function as Development Engineer Fluid Technology to help us take our R&D Projects to the next level.
