What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with developers to ensure reliable and secure product delivery
- Design and maintain world-class infrastructure and deployment pipelines
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across infrastructure and application layers
- Implement improvements to scalability, security, and observability of systems
- Contribute to the developer experience by providing better tools and automation
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Proven experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering
- Strong background with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code practices
- Experience with CI/CD systems, particularly GitLab CI/CD and Spacelift
- Solid understanding of GCP, GKE, and container orchestration
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose issues across various layers
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with observability stacks for monitoring distributed systems
- Familiarity with security best practices in SOC 2-compliant environments
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL administration and performance tuning
- Exposure to multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments
- Experience building self-service tooling for developers
