What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Implement and maintain observability tools and dashboards for application performance monitoring and security compliance
- Assist with cloud cost optimization by analyzing infrastructure usage and recommending adjustments
- Manage and enhance CI/CD pipelines for speed, reliability, and developer experience
- Facilitate modern deployment strategies and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices
- Ensure security and compliance checks are integrated into the CI/CD pipeline
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering role supporting production environments
- Strong proficiency with a major cloud provider, preferably AWS
- Proven experience configuring and managing a modern observability stack
- Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform
- Strong working knowledge of Docker and container orchestration, particularly Kubernetes
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience implementing regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., PCI-DSS, HIPAA)
- Familiarity with "Policy as Code" tools like Open Policy Agent (OPA)
- Background in software development prior to moving into operations
- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Solutions Architect)
- Hands-on experience using AI tools for development assistance
