- Finalize the conversion of imported AWS resources into well-structured Terraform modules.
- Parameterize and standardize Terraform code to enhance maintainability and scalability.
- Design and implement multi-region Disaster Recovery strategies using AWS best practices for resilience.
- Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and automated testing for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Strong experience with Terraform, including module design, state management, and variables.
- Extensive knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, VPC, RDS, and IAM.
- Proven track record of building reliable, scalable, and secure infrastructure in AWS.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code patterns, Git version control, and DevOps toolchains.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to communicate complex technical ideas effectively.
- Basic understanding of Ansible.
- Experience with Docker, GitHub Actions, and Splunk.
- DevOps engineering qualification.
Job Title: DevOps Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a Terraform & AWS Specialist to lead the completion of our migration from Ansible to Terraform. With most of our AWS infrastructure already imported using Terraform and some components modularized, your mission will be to reverse-engineer and transform remaining resources into fully parameterized, reusable Terraform modules. Additionally, you will architect and deploy a multi-region Disaster Recovery solution to ensure high availability and fault tolerance across our AWS environment.

Work Environment
The position is fully remote with the opportunity for a longer-term engagement. You will be working on a project that involves migrating from Ansible to Terraform, focusing on beefing up infrastructure to handle more API products driven by customer initiatives. After the completion of this multi-month project, additional work will be available.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $85.00/hr.
