      Job Description:

      Sun Life Asia is moving from Waterfall to Agile + DevSecOps, the transformational change to the process needs guidance from experts making sure that the transition is seamless and not disruptive.

      There are DevSecOps experts in Asia, but we need someone who is dedicated to guide the project teams, a coach.

      The primary objective of this role is to help transform Asia IT teams to embrace DevSecOps practices, tools and automation through coaching.

      Major Accountabilities :

      • Act as a change agent, supporting SLF teams in their DevOps adoption, growth and maturity. Be able to make decisions, influence and lead discussions with business and IT participants in the DevOps and agile journey at a team and management level .
      • Foster innovation and encourage continuous improvement in alignment with Sun Life’s Bright Way Management System.
      • Conduct assessments for teams in onboarding phase to determine current maturity
      • Provide training and coaching on DevOps principles and practices as required throughout the organization
      • Coach and mentor different teams to facilitate adoption of existing Sun Life DevOps tools, processes and methodologies as well as applying the same to new tools and processes introduced to Sun Life
      • Be the influencer in all interactions with the incumbent teams that are being coached
      • Define and develop a journey learning map for training and development opportunities for agile teams, technical leads and DevOps specialists
      • Assess teams for areas of improvement and build training material
      • Mentor the teams to adopt and use relevant DevOps concepts, such as coding best practices
      • Develop and maintain reporting and metrics for adoption and maturity for coached teams from latest industry trends, continuous integration or automated deployment
      • Develop a results or outcome based mindset by working with the Product Owners, teams, stakeholders, leaders and managers to improve performance and set OKR metrics in support of Sun Life's business plans and goals.
      • Work with other Coaches, with specific support for the DevOps Dojo as they empower the team to become self-organizing, self-managing and highly functional .
      • Work closely with DevOps Specialists to ensure that usage of approved tools, process and culture within assigned teams improves business outcomes.
