What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Draft creative, timely, and inspiring digital fundraising content to encourage donations
- Manage the email production process for assigned campaigns from inception to completion
- Brainstorm new email angles, testing strategies, and creative content for various digital channels
- Create optimized user experiences through drafting, testing, and building landing pages
- Occasionally assist with social media and text message fundraising initiatives
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of one year of professional writing, communications, digital fundraising, or digital marketing experience
- Basic understanding of digital fundraising best practices, particularly in email fundraising
- Excellent attention to detail and consistency in writing style across multiple voices
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and relational skills
- Commitment to electing Democratic pro-choice women and promoting diversity among candidates and staff
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience on a political campaign or writing for a political candidate or organization
- Familiarity with CRM or mailing platforms such as Blue State Digital, EveryAction, ActionKit, or Salsa
