- Develop and manage a digital content strategy that supports organizational goals and audience growth
- Create, edit and publish high-quality digital content for the website and social media to support marketing campaigns and organizational initiatives
- Manage video and audio across streaming platforms.
- Participate in general operations of the marketing department, including proofreading of marketing materials (print and digital)
- Oversee the building of a new website by a third party vendor, with a focus on SEO, UX and accessibility. Once completed, maintain website and use data for analysis and retargeting.
- Stay up to date on social media trends and digital best practices to inform strategy
- Attend rehearsals and concerts as appropriate to capture content
- Coordinate with artistic and marketing to tell a cohesive story about the organization across digital platforms
- Act as primary point of contact for website vendor to address technical issues and upgrades.
- Ensure a seamless digital experience across all devices and platforms, troubleshooting issues as needed.
- Build concert event pages and make updates to other content and copy on the SPCO website
- Create ads for social media with guidance from Chief Marketing Office and Director of Marketing and Communications

JOB SUMMARY
The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, producing and managing digital content that tells the story of the SPCO’s artistic mission, increases audience engagement, strengthens brand visibility and supports earned and contributed revenue goals. This position oversees the website (including the building of a new website during the 2025.26 season), social media, and other multimedia platforms, ensuring content is strategic, timely, on-brand and aligned with organization priorities. This role collaborates closely with artistic and marketing to tell our story, celebrate the musicians and foster meaningful connections with diverse audiences.

Requirements
Required Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's or technical degree in marketing or communications, or three years equivalent combination of education and experience
Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights
Strong organizational and project management skills, ability to work under deadline and performance pressure, attention to detail, and reliability
Strong written and verbal communication skills, content sensibility, and editorial judgment
Strong interpersonal skills; ability to effectively interact with artists, staff, vendors and external partners
Strong professional communication skills including successful and appropriate use of email and other communication tools.
Fluent computer skills including Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Premiere Pro.
Working knowledge of Google Analytics.
Desired Qualifications
Enthusiasm for and appreciation of the classical music art form and digital media
Ability to function in a highly collaborative environment while also working independently
Knowledge of other Adobe Creative Suite products (particularly After Effects, Audition, Illustrator, and Lightroom)
Wage range for this job is $24.00 - $25.60 per hour ($46,800 - $50,000 annual earnings)
