      Position Summary

      At Sherwin-Williams, we are seeking a candidate who can help lead, deliver and re-imagine our evolving customers experiences.

      The Digital Product UX Lead will work with product management, business leads, agency partners, research, delivery teams, field associates and customers to design innovative, industry leading digital products and integrated customer experiences across all channels and touchpoints.

      Qualifications

      FORMAL EDUCATION:

      Required:

      • Bachelor’s Degree in UX or related field or equivalent experience. Candidate must have five years of work experience for every one year of college education required.

      KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

      • 5 years experience as UX Product Designer required
      • 5-7 years experience as UX Product Designer preferred
      • Experience working in both web and mobile platforms required.
      • Bachelors Degree in Design, User Experience Design and/or Computer Interaction required
      • HTML/CSS and/or JavaScript experience preferred.
      • Knowledge of industry tools like Adobe CC, Zeplin and Figma.
      • Ability to understand business metrics and translate company goals into digital experiences
      • Excellence interpersonal and communication skills to communicate ideas to developers,
        leadership, and stakeholders.
      • Design system experience a plus

      TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

      • Required:
        • Proficient in industry tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Invision or Axure.

      TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

      10%

      Responsibilities

      Essential Job Responsibilities

      • Able to work with a product focused structure to deliver user experience driven deliverables such as user flows, functional designs, wireframes, prototypes and comps that address business and customer needs.
      • Combine user experience thinking with design execution to produce usable and intuitive user experiences.
      • Collaborate with the design team to evolve and refine the design system, ensuring visual cohesion and engineering efficiency across all user touchpoints.
      • Work with stakeholders, business leads, product management to meet business goals transform end-to-end consumer journey over time.
      • Experience preparing and giving presentations to various stakeholders about customer experience and product performance.
      • Partner with product management, product owners and IT to design best-in-class experiences supported by UX research, design and usability principals across all digital properties.
      • Partner with external agency partners to ensure best in class experiences are developed and delivered
        across all digital properties.
      • Participate in research and testing sessions to shape decisions and measure the effectiveness of
        purposed solutions.
      • Reframe product and project requests as user centered challenges and focus on providing solutions.
      • Leverage research insights to influence and create experience design recommendations.
      • Stay current on competitor and premium brand experiences, industry trends and best practices.
      • Ensure responsive design practices are part of the experience solutioning process for both web and
        mobile applications.
      • Apply user-centered design principals, approaches and methodologies when developing solutions for web based and mobile properties and touchpoints.
