      We’re looking for a proven Digital Transformation Sales Executive who can drive successful programs and maximize growth and performance with a digital transformation team. Someone with experience developing and nurturing strategic executive-level relationships with key customers, partners, and other regional growth influences. A leader capable of not only driving growth, but also passionate about creating an inclusive environment that enables their team to do their best work. The Digital Transformation Executive is a key contributor to the Americas Global Sales & Marketing (GSM). This role reports to the Manager of Digital Transformation, Americas and may be in any place at the continental United States.

      What you will do:

      The Digital Transformation Executive will understand and evangelize the Rockwell Digital Transformation IT/OT convergence story that includes the best of Rockwell hardware, software, services, and digital innovation. This role will be responsible for driving strategic account digital transformation opportunities and collaborating on the creation of the necessary curated content and customer specific assets that drive customer value – in the modern way customers want to buy.

      The Digital Transformation Executive is focused on identifying growth opportunities for Smart Manufacturing and Operations, Smart Connected Assets, and Digital Innovation including the identification of future technology needs. The position is responsible to develop and drive the Rockwell Automation digital transformation value proposition leading to the adoption of software, connected services, consulting, solutions, and annuity business model. Responsibilities includes contributing to grow the business including market analysis based on industry insights, business development, sales enablement. The Digital Transformation Executive will execute via the centralized digital hub bringing alignment between the business units, marketing, industry, digital innovation best practices and thought leadership, and the sales organization to help deliver the most compelling Rockwell digital transformation value proposition.

      Additional responsibilities include:

      • With the direction of the Director of Digital Transformation, the Digital Transformation Executive works cross functionally with marketing, sales leadership, business units, and industry account team to position and implement digital transformation solutions for the Americas industry team.
      • Focus on Personalization at scale, (programmatic solutions that drive customer value).
      • Support the wider network of Digital Transformation specialists and consultants across Americas, instilling best practices across Americas.
      • Understand how data, customer value, roadmaps, and financial modeling client outcomes and be able to connect all the pieces into a coherent whole, both strategically and with know-how to implement client strategy across industry clients.
      • Be conversant in the technology and business needs related to clients’ executive vision and enable the overarching digital vision to be executed for sales leaders.
      • Works collaboratively to provide feedback for future technology and services needs to the appropriate business units.
      • Provides digital transformation thought leadership and is viewed as a trusted advisor both internally with Rockwell and externally to our most valued customers.
      • Develop and nurture strategic executive level relationships with strategic accounts.
      • Meet or exceed regional business revenue plans for digital transformation solutions and ARR using a discipline sales process, account planning, funnel management, forecast accuracy and key opportunity tracking.
      • Understand the challenges and opportunities for Rockwell Americas clients and help develop the roadmap to quickly accelerate meeting them to deliver competitive advantage.
      • Interacts with C suite clients and be a persuasive communicator able to inspire confidence with clients and lead them on the journey of transformation.
      • Be comfortable acting as change agent and as the voice of necessary change across Americas strategic clients.
      • Work with the Rockwell sales teams, technical consultants and stakeholders to successfully deliver the digital transformation plan and ensure its commercially effective for Rockwell strategic clients.
      • Work with the Rockwell Digital Transformation Center of Excellence team to ensure best in class strategy and implementation.
      • Foster innovative thinking and seamless implementation with particular emphasis on data, strategies, technology, performance and Rockwell solutions.
      • The Digital Transformation Executive will need to work closely with Americas sales leaders, marketing, technical consultants, etc.
      • Identify external organizations for Spotlight investment or partnerships

      Basic Qualifications

      • Bachelor’s degree with additional business-related degree or equivalent relevant sales experience
      • Ability to travel greater than 40% of time.
      • Legal authorization to work in the US or Canada is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

      Preferred Qualifications

      • Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of experience in sales, marketing, or operations in Automation or High Technology, with five or more years’ experience in Digital Transformation.
      • Ability to work with and gain confidence of senior leadership level in a highly collaborative, matrixed stakeholder organization.
      • Proven experience delivering on strategy and exceeding results on hardware and software-based solutions with significant customer business outcomes.
      • Proven experience in consulting selling approach for hardware, software, services, and solutions.
      • Deep experience in enterprise digital transformation.
      • Proven experience transforming and evolving organizations with impactful performance
      • Strong sales focus with a continuous improvement mind-set.
      • Previous global sales experience is preferred.
      • Great presentation skills. The ability to deliver a compelling presentation and value proposition at any level of an organization.
      • Industry-led and customer-centered strategic solution mindset.
      • Knowledge of technology, solutions, and services in the automation market with an emphasis on IT/OT convergence.
      • Knowledge of IoT edge and cloud-based solutions and architectures.
      • Knowledge and experience in Mixed Reality solutions.
      • Knowledge of OT cyber security best practices and applications.
      • Deep understanding of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Predictive Analytics.
      • Customer obsessed mindset with a focus on industry needs and what value can be delivered through a Rockwell solution.
      • Awareness of competitors in the industry.
      • Great interpersonal skills – there will be a lot of industry and Rockwell stakeholders from to bring together to one coherent strategy.
      • Curiosity and insatiable desire to stay ahead of latest platforms and technologies.
      • The position reports to Director Digital Transformation team (functional).

      This position is part of a job family. Experience will be the determining factor for position level and compensation.

      The total target compensation range for this role is $229,000.00- $344,560.00 of which 80% is base and 20% is variable. Our company benefits can be found at raquickfind,com
