      The Child Development Center at Union Health is looking for a Director for the Terre Haute campus. We are looking for an individual who is compassionate, fully committed to providing the highest quality health care experience and dedicated to supporting their team who work in a fast-paced environment.
      The Union Hospital Child Development Center is a Paths to Quality Level 4 child care and pre-school facility located right next to Union Hospital. The center accepts children as young as 6 weeks old and continues to care and nurture your child until they’re ready for kindergarten.

      Director Essential Job Duties:

      • Plans, directs, and develops the Union Hospital Child Development Program.
      • Supervises, manages, and evaluates staff.
      • Works with parents to enroll children, maintain communication, and provide support.
      • Establishes volunteer, referral, and educational programs.
      • Cooperates with departments and agencies to ensure compliance and a quality program.
      • Prepares and implements a cost-effective budget.
      • Promotes the growth of the Union Hospital Child Development Program.
      • Observes all Hospital rules and regulations.
      • Assumes the responsibility of meeting Center needs.
      • Observes professional discretion regarding confidential information.
      • Continuously assesses and improves the performance of services.
      • Performs other duties as assigned.

      Education, Training & Experience

      • Preference to individuals who hold an M.S. in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a closely related field. Or minimum B.S. in the same fields.
      • Also, three years' experience in management level capacity of institutional child care. Or a minimum of extended years' (10+) experience as a classroom lead teacher in a high-quality rated (Level 4) center.
