- Assisting individuals with activities of daily living (examples are personal care, meals, and medication).
- Encouraging individuals to participate in community activities.
- Handling general housekeeping tasks and meal preparation.
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record required
- Advanced ability to convey, understand, and follow spoken and written instructions in English required
- Experience with individuals with IDD preferred, but willing to train otherwise qualified candidates
- Certification in medication administration, first aid, and CPR preferred (KenCrest does provide PAID training to all new hires)
- Must clear criminal record and other background checks in accordance with state requirements

Direct Support Professional
FT & PT POSITIONS AVAILABLEMust be able to attend mandatory weeklong New Employee Orientation training from Mon-Fri between 9AM-4PMKenCrest Services is seeking Direct Support Professionals to work in a group home setting with people with intellectual disabilities. Full-time & part-time positions and all shifts are available. Responsibilities include:
While providing supervision and support, the Direct Support Professional also provides opportunities for each individual to develop and grow toward greater independence.
