      ROLE SUMMARY

      The Consumer Vaccine Franchise Lead is a highly visible role that is responsible for developing and leading the Franchise view with above brand ( reference PfizerVax .com and advertising ), below brand ( reference Vaxassist .com and advertising ), and Flu franchise strategy and execution . Additionally, this colleague will evaluate franchise work to date and identifying /building new opportunities to communicate as a franchise (and where franchise plays a role vs brand) .


      ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

      Flu/ COVID Combo:

      • Create US consumer strategy, campaign, messaging & launch plan for Flu/Covid combo product in partnership with product team
      • Develop tactical plan & consumer budget allocation For ’24-’25 season , as appropriate based on launch timing
      • Serve as marketing point for agency teams/3 rd party entities

      Franchise responsibilities :

      • Collaborate and align with the vaccines franchise to ensure a synergistic franchise approac h
      • Develop strategy & advertising to key cohorts for franchise messaging to increase timely vaccinations across relevant indications
      • Partner closely with vaxassist.com and Pfizervax.com product teams to understand analytics and opportunities to drive vaccination efforts for the franchise
      • Identify novel ways to increase immunizations for the franchise

      Additional responsibilities :

      • Collaborate and align with vaccine marketing team counterparts and cross-functional team members to ensure the plans work in synergy to deliver overall revenue and profit objectives
      • Assist in the development of critical business planning deliverables such as Operating Plan, tactical plan, budgets and long-range forecasts
      • Partner with media team and CMO on recommendations
      • Serve as the liaison with Pfizer Public Relations to ensure media and PR tactics are executed in line with overall brand strategies
      • Partner with retail pharmac y team to promote vaccinations
      • Continuously extract key insights from market research that will drive the business

      BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

      • Bachelor's and 10+ years of experience, OR Master's and 9+ years of experience, OR PhD/PharmD and 7+ years of experience

      • Documented ability to effectively engage with stakeholders to drive behavior change

      • Strong business acumen including demonstrated strategic marketing and analytical thinking skills

      • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team and lead colleagues outside of a direct reporting relationship through influence and persuasion.

      • An absolute commitment to adherence to all applicable compliance rules and regulations.

      • Be an active contributor to create and operate in an environment that continuously embraces and encourages the implementation of innovative ideas and fosters a culture of collaboration and teamwork across functional teams

      • Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.

      The annual base salary for this position ranges from $161,600.00 to $261,500.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
