      THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE:

      As the Director of Ecommerce Business Management, reporting to the Vice President, Ecommerce, you will serve as a key business architect—owning high-impact strategic initiatives, financial planning, and operational execution across the ecommerce ecosystem. You’ll act as a critical thought partner and operator for the VP, and you’ll step in as a delegate when needed—helping guide senior leaders, shape cross-functional direction, and drive performance accountability. This is a highly visible role with significant influence across functions and requires both strategic foresight and operational depth. You will coordinate with Planners and Merchandisers to ensure every aspect of the ecommerce business is planned by sub-category and time horizon.

      CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

      Strategic Planning & Leadership

      • Partner with the VP to define the long-term vision, strategy, and roadmap for the ecommerce business
      • Lead the strategic planning and goal-setting process for the ecommerce organization, ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives and customer needs
      • Serve as a strategic extension of the VP, stepping in to lead meetings, make cross-functional decisions, and manage senior stakeholder relationships
      • Proactively identify growth opportunities and operational risks through data-driven insight and market analysis

      Financial Forecasting & P&L Management

      • Co-own the ecommerce P&L with the VP, ensuring financial targets are met through rigorous planning, tracking, and optimization
      • Lead monthly and quarterly revenue forecasting in partnership with Finance, Marketing, and Merchandising
      • Develop and manage operating budgets, promotional levers, and margin performance across ecommerce channels
      • Analyze contribution margin, product-level profitability, customer acquisition costs, and LTV to inform strategy
      • Build business cases and scenario models for new initiatives, product strategies, and investment opportunities

      Cross-Functional Execution & Leadership

      • Lead non-direct reports across Digital, Marketing, Creative, Tech, Merchandising, and Fulfillment to deliver against ecommerce priorities
      • Orchestrate cross-functional planning for product drops, campaigns, seasonal strategies, and marketplace growth
      • Ensure flawless execution of go-to-market strategies, from planning to post-mortem analysis
      • Own communication, prioritization, and decision frameworks to drive efficiency and alignment
      • Coordinate with Planners and Merchandisers to ensure every aspect of the ecommerce business is planned by sub-category and time horizon.

      Channel Strategy & Commercial Optimization

      • Own the ecommerce channel roadmap and GTM calendar, ensuring all initiatives are laddering up to business objectives
      • Design and lead channel-specific sampling and trial strategies to drive conversion, retention, and engagement
      • Support marketplace and third-party platform strategy, including performance tracking and partner development
      • Identify strategic white space and expansion opportunities, both domestic and international

      REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION:

      • 10 years of experience in ecommerce, digital strategy, retail business management, ecommerce merchandise planning, financial planning & analysis, or management consulting
      • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Strategy, or related field required; MBA preferred
      • Demonstrated ownership of forecasting and P&L management in a high-growth ecommerce or retail environment
      • Proven experience forecasting and analyzing a full ecommerce P&L, connecting marketing, inventory, pricing, and experience
      • Strong financial acumen with deep understanding of ecommerce drivers (CAC, LTV, AOV, margin conversion, pricing and promotion, marketing ROI, retention)
      • Experience influencing cross-functional senior leaders and operating effectively in a matrixed environment
      • Executive-level communication and strategic thinking, with ability to toggle between detail and vision
      • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, scenario planning, and business case development
      • Familiarity with ecommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify Plus, Salesforce Commerce Cloud), analytics tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, GA4), and business planning platforms (e.g., Anaplan, Adaptive Insights)




      The pay range for this position is $171,600.00 - $220,000.00 / Year with the opportunity for eligible associates to earn additional compensation pursuant to the Company’s bonus plan. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, geographic location, and business and organizational needs. Full-time positions are eligible for paid time off, health, dental, vision, life and disability benefits. Part-time positions are eligible for dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.
