PURPOSE STATEMENT
As the director of Executive Communications for Rich’s, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering communication strategy for our CEO and Executive Team. We’re seeking a creative storyteller and strategic communications counselor with strong executive presence, who has a knack for creating clarity from the complex; delivering digestible information in ways that educate, inform and inspire. We’ll look to this important leader to craft compelling and impactful leadership communication to effectively connect with key stakeholders, build trust and drive alignment. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional communication skills, a strategic mindset and proven experience and success working closely with C-Suite executives.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES
• In partnership with the VP of Corporate Communications, serve as a strategic communications counselor, advisor and communications business partner to Rich’s Executive Team
• Strategy + Plan Development + Execution- partner with VP of Corporate Communications to create, execute and enhance executive communications plan to build executive team visibility, access and trust
• Strategic Key Message Development- develop and define messages to ensure strategic connection and alignment to business strategy and consistency of messages delivered among all Executive Team communicators
• Leadership Meeting Event Planning + Execution- partner with VP of Corporate Communications to plan and lead the execution of dynamic and impactful leadership meetings (hybrid and in-person), approximately three times per year for Rich’s global leaders
• CEO Townhalls- partner with VP of Corporate Communications to plan and execute monthly CEO Townhalls (hybrid and virtual), including development of key topics, guests, presentation development and townhall moderation
• Creative Storytelling- bring creative storytelling approach to communication, making complex concepts accessible, relatable and engaging
• Ongoing Communications Counsel, Strategy and Execution- drive and deliver communications expertise and support for ongoing organizational initiatives (Transformation, M&A, etc.)
• Presentation Building- develop visually appealing and impactful presentations for executive team members, in alignment with Corporate Communications plan and direction; ability to work collaboratively with external creative agency and freelance resources
• Email and video communications and speech writing- craft impactful communications to reach and resonate with key stakeholders
• Digitally savvy- stay up-to-date on digital communication trends and leverage relevant platforms to drive impactful communicationKNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
• Minimum of 15 years of related communications experience; agency experience a plus
• Strong executive presence, with proven success working directly with C-Suite and Executive leaders, providing effective communications counsel
• Creative, strategic thinker with ability to align communications objectives to business objectives
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly dynamic business environment, with a client service-driven mindset, and deliver under pressure; must be able to manage multiple priorities
• Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail
• Strong presentation + public speaking skills
• Digitally-savvy: understands changing communications and content creation landscape; identifies, recommends and manages programs to build executive profiles and connection
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with ability to understand, adapt to and collaborate with varying leadership and communication styles
• Natural collaborator and relationship builder, recognizing individual success is a result of team success, with a common goal to deliver great work
• Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or a related field; advanced degree a plus
• Up to 15% travelCOMPENSATION
In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Rich's"), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location.
Annual Range/Hourly Rate
$124,725.00 - $207,875.00
