- Strategy Definition and Prioritization: Identify the customer needs that are global in nature while bringing the regional differences together to create a clear view of the value proposition and prioritized strategy for eBay. Understand eBay’s strategic and competitive positioning to develop reasons, drive continuous improvement, and define product needs that meet the needs for the C2C Seller
- Benefit Quantification: Build the case for change using seller data, analysis of financial and operational metrics, and competitive benchmarking
- Roadmap Ownership: Develop and drive roadmaps across product, marketing and operations to deliver the capabilities our C2C Sellers need most through the planning process throughout the year and annually
- Go to Market Strategy: Build and drive a go to market strategy in conjunction with Marketing, PR, Ops and Legal teams.
- Cross-functional Leadership: Collaborate with partners, aligning to shared strategies and goals, championing seller experiences, and innovating across teams
- Results and Accountability: Define key performance indicators, design experimentation structure and measure results. Own reporting of seller health KPIs and insights to leadership.
- Shown diligent executor that can inspire cross-functional teams, delivering experiences at eBay’s scale
- High level of comfort with analytical approaches and quantitative methods
- Committed, independent, self-starter comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Proven track record leading multiple priorities simultaneously with minimum guidance
- Excellent organizational and written/verbal communication skills
- Ability to think end-to-end across customer and business touchpoints
- Structured thinker that can break down ambiguous problems into executable solutions
- Well versed in both online and integrated retail environments
- Understand the importance of design and research and how both fit into building new processes and deploying new technologies
- Built and nurtured high performing teams
- BA/BS degree, with 10+ years of relevant ecommerce experience, e.g., Seller Experience, Product Management, Product Operations, Product Strategy, Defect Reduction, Management Consulting
- Prior experience owning end-to-end eCommerce experiences, and using measures like NPS, conversion funnels and financial results
- Proven experience leading the delivery of strategies from roadmap to delivery in a highly collaborative culture
- Experience in Agile Product Management
- Solid understanding of technical solutions used in marketplaces and ecommerce platforms and familiarity with system architecture and APIs
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Experienced team manager
- MBA or advanced degree a plus

Job Description
The Global Selling Initiatives team plays a key interface between the Global Markets organization and the Global Product and Global Growth organizations by establishing the global seller value proposition and bringing it to life through close engagement with product, policy, customer service and marketing teams. Our team pushes eBay to scale at key points that refine our products and infrastructure by completing efficiently, bringing solid business and customer sense and working effectively across organizational lines.
As the Director of Global C2C Selling, you will be a primary lead in articulating the global consumer seller strategy and programs to address the highest priority opportunities for the customers. You will build market and vertical expertise through deep collaboration with the regional and category teams to synthesize the business and customer opportunities to support the company’s strategy.
You and your team will partner with global product, marketing, monetization, policy and customer service teams to complete strategic programs, set OKRs for initiatives and projects, and create processes to drive ground-breaking consumer selling ecosystem success and improve our customer experiences and outcomes. You will own the creation and execution of the go-to-market strategy to ensure adoption and measure success.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California, Washington, or New York City is expected in the range below.
$160,400 - $254,100Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
