      The Role

      The Director, Global Corporate Research & Insights is a team leader within the Global Research and Insights team and will manage the global corporate research and consumer insight team members based in NYC, and the UK.

      This role will be responsible for executing and delivering corporate and consumer research roadmap, setting the strategy for corporate and consumer research with the VP, Global Research and Insights and raising the profile of research and insight at Condé Nast. You will have experience in managing and influencing senior decision-makers and will have the best-in-class presentation and storytelling skills.

      To be successful in this role, you will need to be a confident decision maker, proactive, have experience of managing a team with manager to associate director level reports, excellent communicator, have strong experience producing and presenting research and insights that drives big picture strategy.

      What will you be doing?

      • Management and development of the corporate strategy and consumer research team

      • Designing, owning and delivering the corporate and consumer research roadmap

      • Developing a suite of proactive reports and tracking studies that drive business strategy for Conde Nast, identifying major trends and business opportunities.

      • Extensive data gathering and analysis using secondary sources as needed to explore new technologies, platforms and audience opportunities

      • Presentation of opportunities and recommendations to senior management

      • Oversea end to end primary research project delivery, covering a mix of methods and techniques including behavioural science, semiotics, AI automation, consumer surveys and focus groups

      Who you are:

      • Ability to sensitively manage global teams and be flexible with the timezones

      • Experience of managing a team and team coaching / development

      • Ability to collaborate and negotiate with colleagues to find solutions to practical problems

      • Experience with and knowledge of a wide variety of secondary and syndicated research sources

      • Ability to maintain and work with highly confidential information

      • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation

      • Experience working in a global, multi-jurisdictional business

      • Strong desire for personal and professional growth

      • Desire to work in a fast-paced environment in transformation

      • Deep understanding of primary research techniques

      • Working knowledge of corporate strategy and development, additional languages and presenting at industry conferences and events is a plus
