- Accountability for delivery of the Medical Digital and Technology Strategy within Europe.
- Provides leadership & innovation in digital, data, analytics to the European Medical Affairs Leadership Team
- Manages relationships with other critical internal teams in Digital & Tech (Digital Fuel, Regional D&T Leadership, R&D Tech)
- Ensures use of relevant commercial & medical tech / central services and collaborating with service partners in identification and delivery of service improvements
- Supports Medical & Commercial Digital & Tech Product Owners and product teams to deliver value continuously, fostering and maintaining close links with customers, related Solution groups.
- Pro-actively engages in experimentation and innovation to drive continuous improvement towards the European Medical Affairs goals.
- Contributes to release planning and roadmaps working closely with Product Owners
- Cross team delivery: Mastery of complex facilitation and dependency management techniques (cross team, cross department)
The role:
We are seeking an inspiring Director, Head of Global Medical Affairs Digital Strategy & Engagement Europe.
This role entails spearheading innovation, strategy, and collaboration whilst support company goals alongside business needs.
The role holder will lead the priority LOCs within the European Medical Affairs organization to adopt and fully execute the defined Global Medical Affairs Digital and Technology strategy, including the Medical Affairs applications of the integrated Data driven customer experience vision (DDCX).
In addition, the role will drive the respective upskilling of the EU Medical Affairs team in digital, data, and technology.

Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
• Minimum Bachelor degree in computer science or a related field (e.g. Engineering, Bioengineering, etc.) is preferred however, relevant experience is also highly valuable• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry
• Proficiency in Marketing Automation, Analytics, Cookies, and Tags
• Proficiency in content personalization and A/B testing
• Proficiency in solution design, program and product delivery, as well as service management
• Demonstrated ability to drive business impact through technology-enabled solutions and process improvements
• Prior experience in vendor management
• Relationship management skills, with a strong ability to influence and communicate effectively
• Knowledge of the content relevant to the respective functional area (such as business operating models, processes, and products)
Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
• Master's degree in computer science or a related field ((e.g. Engineering, Bioengineering, etc.)
• Experience in the Digital - Tech transformation / strategy applied to the Medical Affairs space
