      General Description:

      Delivers HRIS solutions that support and aligns with OU Health strategic initiatives, while enabling efficiency and promoting collaborative innovation across the system. In partnership with Leads and drives the organization’s Human Resources information systems, ensuring seamless experience across all technology platforms. Responsible for the timely delivery of HRIS projects and initiatives, including complex Workday configuration and support. Provide project management support and communications for Human Resources projects as well as anticipate and raise risks and propose mitigation plans. Leads a team including, but not limited to, HRIS management, HRIS analysts/consultants, and project managers.

      Staff Engagement & Support

      • Accountable for team member relations, leadership/talent development, talent review and assessment processes, succession planning, role-based competency development, etc.
      • Evaluate personnel, reports, decisions, and results of department initiatives in relation to the established goals.

      System Support and Programs

      • Proactively develop and foster collaborative working relationships with key leaders across various functional areas, internally and externally to HR, and drive key HR information system priorities to completion.
      • Enlist and partner with IT, Finance, Supply Chain, Nursing, Clinical Education and other functional areas as needed to properly assess technological impacts to HR systems and processes.
      • Lead and develop a variety of analytical tasks and reports of HR and system related data to support process improvements and alignment with departmental and organizational goals.
      • Provides leadership with review and audits of HR data and creation of reports and dashboards to provide data analysis, data mining, statistical techniques and industry benchmarking to identify organizational trends.
      • Provide experience in gathering data requirements, design, maintenance, upgrades, testing, and implementation of ERP Human Resources modules such as, but not limited to, HCM, Recruiting, Benefits, Compensation, and Learning.
      • Understand and adhere to data privacy and access policies.
      • Drive Human Resources Strategy through Design, Implementation and Administration of HRIS systems and processes

      • Lead system implementation and system module optimizations focused around patient care and employee-related initiatives.
      • Provide leadership in the education and change management of the HR system and best practices for stakeholders and system users.

      Drive Human Resources Strategy through Design, Implementation and Administration of HRIS systems and processes

      • Supports the Human Resources strategy and makes recommendations for system, process improvements, as well as anticipate and raise risks and propose mitigation plans.
      • Evaluate HR data analysis and technological trends by compiling and analyzing statistical data from industry trends.
      • Lead complex projects over multiple sites.
      • Lead system implementation and system module optimizations focused around patient care and employee-related initiatives.
      • Provide leadership in the education and change management of the HR system and best practices for stakeholders and system users.

      Evaluate and advise on industry trends and metrics

      • Research and recommend innovative solutions to HR information system issues and processes.
      • Direct all processes associated with HR information system programs or processes, including rollout strategies, communication, planning, leading and implementation.
      • Analyze HR metrics and provide results; establish ongoing reporting review, recommendation and trends.
      • Perform ad-hoc analysis and manage special projects

      Minimum Qualifications:

      Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources or Information Technology field (Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Data Analytics or other related field is required). Master’s degree preferred.

      Experience: Minimum of 5 years of leadership and relevant management experience at the system or corporate level. Project management experience required. Experience in a large healthcare system preferred.

      License(s)/Certification(s)/Registration(s) Required: Workday Pro certification (within 12 months).

      Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

      • Advanced investigative, analytical skills, and advanced information systems experience.
      • Experience leading system implementations
      • Experienced in developing, maintaining, and engaging working relationships across divisions/departments.
      • Advanced understanding and experience in HRMS such as Workday, Paycom, PeopleSoft, ADP, etc., with Workday experience preferred.
      • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; successful engagement with individuals at all levels of an organization
      • Strong leadership and influence skills; ability to translate strategy into action through the leadership and engagement of multiple stakeholders.
      • Accuracy and attention to detail in work
      • Strong Microsoft software programs with exceptional skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
      • Experience with working independently, prioritizing workload, and being flexible to change.
      • Knowledgeable/understand of continuous process improvement (CPI) and proven track record of applying (CPI) to processes.
      • Subject matter expertise and passion for information systems.
      • Able to operate at all levels of the organization, cross-functionally and cross geography.
      • Strategic visionary with analytical depth, exceptional judgment, and strong project management focus.
      • Aligning Human Resources value propositions with reward strategy.
      • Proactively anticipating needs and using trends/analytics to drive key decisions.
      • Successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously, focusing on top priorities and high impact economic and behavioral drivers.
      • Advanced understanding of HR processes, process flow and data
