      The position of Director Industrial Automation - Business Development will be Remote!

      Summary
      The Director Industrial Automation - Business Development is responsible for leading the sales and business development efforts of Rexel USA’ s Automation business in the US where we are aligned with Rockwell Automation. Lead the automation sales strategies and consistent execution of our automation business achieving above market growth and accelerated market share gains. Establish sales growth strategies for key vertical industries, and to lead the successful execution of the vertical affinity sales teams. Lead new location/new customer project pursuits resulting in expanded scope of supply for all major greenfield projects across our automation territories. This includes aligning with Rexel’s cross functional teams as well as key supplier teams. Plan and execute core automation sales campaigns in a consistent and effective manner including goal establishing goals, consistent execution, and accountable for delivering results.

      The successful candidate may live anywhere in the U.S., provided they have access to a major airport, and are willing to travel as required. This high impact leadership position requires someone with exceptional sales strategy ability and experience, and proven execution via influence of cross functional teams.


      What You’ll Do

      • Critical collaborative member of the Industrial Automation leadership team working across all Rexel US regions where we are aligned with Rockwell Automation and other key industrial and automation partners
      • Lead the strategy and sales execution of our key automation growth strategies
      • Lead, motivate, and coach the Automation Managers responsible for the Automation business by APR(s) and set an aggressive pace for goal achievement of core automation
      • Define and manage the Automation Offer to align with emerging market and customer requirements
      • Support the regions in critical Rockwell Automation and other key partner requirements: Automation Appointment, Key Growth Initiatives and other
      • Work with the automation managers and Region Automation VPs to develop the highest quality sales team possible by continually ensuring the entire team is trained in all products/services/solutions
      • Support as directed the accuracy and timeliness of the sales forecast
      • Engage with key and target customers and partners to help further company sales
      • Other duties as assigned
