      • PR and Marketing Coordinator

      The Director Marketing Operations directs and oversees all aspects of marketing operations including creating and executing comprehensive marketing strategies, projects, and integrated campaigns designed to foster engagement, increase lead generation, and drive donor acquisition. Instrumental in ensuring that marketing efforts align with Canine Companions' mission to increase awareness, drive revenue, and attract new supporters and volunteers. This position is responsible for overseeing the production of brand materials, storytelling, and content strategy to ensure a consistent, creative, and effective marketing workflow.

      ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed:

      • Directs the brand, content and production strategy for integrated marketing communications projects, including direct marketing, supporter communications, digital tools and brand marketing materials, ensuring a fluid workflow across all marketing processes. Manages priorities, project plans, quality design and timely delivery of projects and deliverables, while executing return on investment.
      • Develop and manage integrated marketing campaigns to drive acquisition and engagement with Canine Companions. Work with content creators and vendors to execute campaign elements, strategy and deliverables.
      • Oversee digital and organization social media strategy to increase followers and outreach. Oversee creation of and manage strategy for social media channels.
      • Oversee the marketing production strategy and processes that optimize efficiency, effectiveness, fiscal and staffing.
      • Directs a metrics-based creative strategy for communications, content implementation, engagement journeys and audience segmentation.
      • Lead integrated campaign strategy meetings and develop creative briefs for campaigns to determine strategy, audience, timing, metrics for success, etc. Review content, creative direction, and deliverables.
      • Manage the implementation of campaign metrics to define campaign success and make recommendations for improvements or adjustments for future success.
      • Oversee SEM and lead generation strategy and campaigns, including online paid ads, content development and vendor relationships.
      • Manage the marketing master editorial calendar organization wide.
      • Manages annual marketing revenue, reach and engagement metrics to meet or exceed annual organizational goals.
      • Ensure branding consistency on Canine Companions materials and messaging organization wide as needed.
      • Effectively prioritize and manage timelines to gather requirements, assess goals, make recommendations, set up review process and provide final project completion.
      • Supervise, train and evaluate a team of marketing employees to implement marketing campaigns and production. Able to work cooperatively and support team members.

      • Must be able to think critically and analyze data, campaign analytics, website metrics and email response rates in order to make recommendations for continued success and/or opportunities for improvement.
      • Strong organizational, communication and project management skills,
      • Ability to plan and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
      • Problem solving and attention to detail required.
      • Creative design experience to a plus, including graphic, website and direct mail.
      • Able to organize and maintain detailed records; complete necessary paperwork and meet deadlines.
      • Proficiency with computers; must have knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Google Adwords, Google Analytics and other web metric platforms.

      EXPERIENCE: Minimum 8 years professional experience in marketing, public relations, or publications. Prior non-profit experience preferred. Experience with Salesforce software a plus.

      EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree required, preferably in field directly related to this role, or combination of education and experience that would lead to the successful performance of the essential functions of the role.

      WORKING CONDITIONS: General office working conditions apply. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate. The employee will work indoors and outdoors performing marketing, public relations and administrative duties. This position will also attend fundraising events. Occasional travel, evening and weekend hours required.

      SCHEDULE: Full Time. Occasional travel, evening and weekend hours required.

      PAY: $110,000-$120,000/year

      The base salary range above represents the range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of total compensation package for employees.
