      Are you interested in a scientific communications and training opportunity that will allow you to drive medical educational materials, tools and innovation for a pharmaceutical industry leader in tremendous growth mode? If so, this role may be for you!

      This scientific communications and training role leads the development of US Oncology medical and scientific communication plans, tactics, medical educational material and external communication tools, including digital innovation and customized US scientific medical training in alignment with the US Medical Affairs leads, and Oncology Field Medical Leadership.

      You will be accountable for materials required at symposia such as presentations, and field medical trainings; providing medical accuracy review of materials and will liaise with cross-functional teams including Medical Information and Global Medical Affairs. In addition, this all-encompassing role will represent the US on the Global SciComm Matrix Team, collaborating with investigators, congresses, medical experts and authors. You role will work in close partnership and collaboration with internal partners including Global Scientific Communications organization, the US Medical Matrix Team, the US Medical Information Team, and publications.

      Basic Qualifications:

      We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

      • PhD, PharmD, MD, or advanced science degree (Masters of Science, MPH).

      • 3+ years experience within pharmaceutical or communications company.

      • 3+ years of oncology/hematology experience.

      • Experience with development of slide decks and other scientific content.

      • Experience in leading in the development and implementation of medical education material for external audiences and training material and tools for internal medical teams.

      • Experience with medical education meetings and digital/social media delivery.

      • Experience leading and working within cross-functional teams.

      • Experience in creating digital communication tools and platforms is preferred.

      • Experience with strategic and tactical publication planning, development of abstracts, manuscripts preferred.

      • Experience interpreting, analyzing and organizing scientific data.

      Preferred Qualifications:

      If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

      • Experience in scientific communications preferred.

      • Demonstrates strong communication and presentation skills.

      • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
