Director of Sales, Access Control - Strategic Accounts

- Manage a team to Create, nurture and respond to sales opportunities and close sales orders within accounts assigned through the strategic account channel related to MSI's access control portfolio
- Manage and assist with the creation of business plans for assigned accounts and strategic alliances, in relation to strategic accounts
- Develop and maintain relationships at the Executive level with all assigned accounts.
- Assist in creation of business plans for each BDM, Access Control, Strategic Account
- Work closely with the VP, Access and Senior Director, Strategic Accounts on strategy and growth initiatives for our identified strategic accounts.
- Attend Strategic Account partner meetings when required to assist in quarterly business reviews
- Support Business Development Managers sales activities for the assigned accounts by creating, nurturing, and responding to questions from team members
- Track sales activities using lead and project tracking software databases
- Collaborate with VS&A Strategic Accounts Leaders to come up with new initiatives to maximize growth and revenue.
- Preference for candidates based in the territory. Travel will be no less than 75% of the time. This travel will be within the territory; however occasional air travel and international travel will be required.

- 10+ years experience selling Access Control solutions
- 5+ years managing a sales team
- Strong technical acumen and ability to speak towards our products and solutions
- Proven record of achievement in delivering results and developing collaborative relationships
- Strong understanding of our go-to-market strategy and sales philosophy is required
- Time management skills are required, and candidates must have the ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex, fast-paced environment
- Ability to travel up throughout North America, as needed
- Valid Passport for International Travel
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
- Preference for candidates based in the United States
- Approximately 50-75% of regional travel is required
- Majority of travel within the territory will be by air, some international travel can be expected for tradeshows and sales conferences.
- This role will carry a base pay range of $100,000 to $120,00
- This role will be eligible to also receive commission payouts based on sales performance
- High school diploma or equivalent with 10+ years of access control solutions sales experience with 5+ years leading a sales team

Job Description
Reporting to the Vice President, Access Control the Director of Sales, Access Control - Strategic Accounts Holds a key position to grow the access control sales with partners within a specific territory. This role requires a dynamic individual who is knowledgeable and passionate about Access Control, is customer focused, efficient and capable of leading a team. The core objective of this position is to supervise, manage and lead a team of individuals to work Strategic accounts within a set territory.
