      The Director of Security is responsible for the oversight of the safety and security of the hotel. This person will respond to guest and employee emergencies, complete incident reports, supervise and train the security staff. A minimum of two years of security experience, good communication skills and customer service experience preferred. The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $115,000.

      ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:

      · Monitors all areas of the property at all times, identifying potential security and/or safety risks and reporting them to the appropriate individual or entity, for proper resolution.

      · Utilizes necessary equipment, to identify, record, document and report illegal, suspicious or unusual activities occurring on property.

      · Maintains a working knowledge of all rules and regulations of the Hotel, Collective Bargaining Agreement and applicable rules as outlined by city, state, and federal law, and ensures strict adherence to same throughout the property.

      · Protects hotel assets and integrity, through the consistent, thorough monitoring of all activities on property.

      · Completes a daily report.

      · Coordinates, with the Security Department, when surveillance discovers a matter which needs further investigation or attention.

      · Facilitates the flow of information throughout the department, by attending regularly scheduled meetings.

      · Held accountable for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports.

      · Makes suggestions and recommendations, as appropriate, with regard to possible changes in the policies and procedures of other departments, with the protection of hotel assets in mind.

      · All other duties as assigned.

      · Previous Gaming Industry Experience is Preferred

      · High School diploma or GED required

      · Excellent verbal and written communication skills required

      · Excellent communication skills required.

      · Ability to read and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

      · Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

      · The Associate is also regularly required to stand, walk, sit for extended periods of time, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls.

      · Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

      · Must be available for a flexible 10 hour shift, including occasional nights, weekends and holidays
