Mount Sinai South Nassau in Oceanside, NY is currently seeking full-time qualified board-certified stroke neurologist to serve as Director of Stroke and Vascular Neurology.
The selected candidate must have excellent clinical skills with an interest in outpatient and inpatient stroke care, a track record of clinical and/or translational research, as well as strong leadership skills. The selected candidate will be expected to provide equal effort in clinical care, and in leadership of the Division.
The Division of Neurology is currently comprised of eight faculty Neurologists who work to achieve the hospital’s Joint Commission’s gold seal of approval for disease-specific care for primary stroke, AHA Gold Plus Stroke Center and partial thrombectomy capable interventional services, in the setting of a very active neurosurgical service, state of the art neurological imaging studies and epilepsy platform, and a full-service tertiary care hospital. We are in the process of building a full comprehensive thrombectomy capable Stroke Center and Neurology Service and are looking to recruit full-time faculty to expand the Division’s services.

Qualifications
Compensation range from 345 to 345K (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits)
