Job Description

- Shape Global Operations strategy. Own a project portfolio and ensure delivery of major change initiatives across functions
- Support vision creation and roadmap for global implementation of solutions and tools and set strategic direction for roll-out of capabilities across brands
- Build and cultivate high performance team
- Represent the brand of Strategy & Programs to Global Operations community and beyond
- Support Global Operations strategy development process and project portfolio prioritization
- Anticipate and capitalize on opportunities for transformation within Global Operations
- Own and manage a project portfolio that drives change in the Global Operations
- Lead multiple (senior) project managers to deliver projects in alignment with strategic direction
- Effectively deploy team and project resources to ensure high quality and consistency of deliverables
- Lead communication to sponsors and senior management through effective story telling
- Support Global Operations Strategy & Programs people strategy definition and ensure growth and development of team members
- Perform line manager role on direct reports (e.g. recruiting, performance management, team approvals, team budget control)
- Lead project activities and partner with stakeholders
- Steer and encourage discussions with x-functional stakeholders to ensure adequate and timely alignment on proposed direction(s)
- Independently identify and manage (senior) stakeholder group, establish solid working relationship and steer communication
- Stakeholders can relate to the following core functions:
- Product Operations and Sourcing
- Markets (SCM and Sales functions)
- Marketing (horizontal and vertical Business Unit divisions)
- GOPS (Global IT, SCM, etc.)
- Corporate functions
- End-to-end mindset, big picture view of problems on hand
- Creative, energetic personality, able to influence the agenda
- Decisive, taking ownership and leadership appearance
- Track record on coaching, talent and team management
- Experience in multi-cultural and cross-divisional management
- Advance leadership and management training
- Excellent presentation and story-telling skills
- Proven track records in managing large teams and/or external consultant
- Ability to launch large-scale projects and proven track records of strategic project management experience, advanced understanding of business process management, methodologies, and principles
- Business acumen and in-depth knowledge on Sourcing and/ or operation related processes
- Lead and direct team of (senior) project managers
- Handle all related line management responsibility
- Coach and mentor team members with people development plan
- Foster a highly motivational and encourage highly diverse working environment
- Instills a team culture in which all important issues are discussed openly and constructively
- Support definition and drive people strategy (e.g. recruitment)
- Empowers individual team members and generates a can-do culture
- Ambassadorship across network
- Between 7-8 years of relevant work experience in MNC environment (e.g. top tier consulting, project management, apparel/fashion, supply chain management, background)
- Within which 1-2 years proven track record of large scale project / program management experience; direct report / team management a plus
- University degree, PMP and lean sigma certification preferred
