What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead and direct a program providing prospect intelligence to maximize fundraising outcomes
- Compile and analyze data/intelligence for fundraising efforts
- Supervise, coach, and develop a team of prospect development professionals
- Develop and implement accurate reporting for prospect development activities
- Communicate key findings, trends, and policies to various audiences
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of relevant experience or Master's degree plus 6 years of experience
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Prior management experience focusing on team building and maintaining a positive environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to convey information clearly
- Proficient computer skills and ability to maintain confidentiality
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Comprehensive understanding of the development cycle
- Proficiency in Apra's Body of Knowledge Prospect Research and Leadership
- Experience with corporate and foundation fundraising
- Strong negotiation and prioritization skills
- Skill in developing project/strategic plans
