Wilsonart is currently seeking a Regional Director, Company Owned Distribution East to lead our Company Owned Distribution Sales Channel for nearly a dozen warehouse locations. u00A0This position will be responsible for directing the sale of products through assigned Metro locations and the sales force within those geographies.u00A0 This position will develop relationships with customers, have full P&L responsibility including demand creation, sales and operations. u00A0

The ideal candidate should reside within the territory and near a major airport.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.u00A0Revenue Growth and Profitability
u2022 Develop action plan to drive annual revenue growth across the channel in all Wilsonart products.
u2022 Manage costs and generate operational improvements and efficiencies that will increase profitability.u00A0Demand Creation:
u2022 Drive pipeline growth with specification rep team within the company owned distribution locations.
u2022 Drive team to uncover new buying and specifying accounts within all Metro locations.
u2022 Leverage CRM across the organization to improve sales and specification team effectiveness.u00A0Support the Implementation of a Strategy for the Company Owned Distribution Channel that will include:
u2022 Trends and directions within the channel to support growth.
u2022 Products/Processes required, or desired by the channel.
u2022 Analysis of the suitability of the channel for Wilsonart plans and requirements.
u2022 Annual tactics that will ensure success.u00A0u00A0Communicate with the Company Owned Distribution channel regarding:
u2022 Wilsonart strategies, tactics, policies.
u2022 New Product/Design launch strategy, content, and timing.
u2022 Product strategies.u00A0Direct activities regarding pricing in the Company Owned Distribution channel, including:
u2022 Ensure that all pricing is consistent, fair, legal, and competitive within the channel.
u2022 Oversee the pricing matrix, and the negotiated account process.
u2022 Develop and implement promotions as required by market conditions.u00A0u00A0Talent Management:
u2022 Managing organizational headcount
u2022 Maintaining a talent bench
u2022 Coaching and improving existing team and filling vacancies with top talentu00A0u00A0KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
u2022 Knowledge of safety standards applicable to the work area and other pertinent rules/regulations governing work standards.
u2022 Knowledge of products marketed.
u2022 Knowledge of sales/marketing techniques.

u2022 Must be a dynamic and charismatic leader who can inspire, motivate and engage the team.u00A0MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSEDUCATION:
Bacheloru2019s Degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience; 1yr experience may substitute for 1yr of degree. u00A0u00A0EXPERIENCE:
u2022 5-7+ years of field sales experience, preferably in the Building Materials or Products space
u2022 3+ years of Sales Management experience, leading teams spread across large geographiesNotice
