What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals in identifying, qualifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities
- Oversee the sales team's activity to ensure a consistent pipeline of opportunities
- Develop and execute a business plan and sales strategy for achieving sales quotas
- Manage sales processes with quality forecasting and performance metrics
- Serve as a main point of contact for customer service issues and maintain high customer satisfaction
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 10 years' experience selling Total Value of Ownership at the C-level or to business ownership and stakeholders
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in managing a field sales team selling enterprise-level solutions
- Strong knowledge of business software applications and business-to-business sales
- Proven track record of increasing sales, revenue, and profitability within a sales organization
- Outstanding presentation, communication, and negotiation skills

- Experience in supply chain management, logistics, transportation, or wholesale distribution industries
- Proven track record in hiring, training, and developing sales teams
- Strong consultative sales skills with metrics-driven processes
