What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Intake and verify new cases, ensuring proper drafting and setup in the system
- Monitor and track cases to meet deadlines and ensure compliance with client requirements
- Assign and schedule new cases to physicians based on various criteria, including availability and guidelines
- Regularly update clients on the progress of their cases and address any inquiries
- Ensure proper documentation is provided for specified cases to clients and reviewers
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate's Degree preferred
- Business experience in a healthcare and/or insurance setting is preferred
- Strong communication skills, both internal and external
- Ability to apply critical thinking and manage time efficiently to meet specific deadlines
- Proficiency in computer literacy and typing skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a fast-paced insurance claims environment
- Familiarity with medical documentation and case management processes
- Knowledge of Workers' Compensation and Disability insurance
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
