We are currently looking for an individual to join our business as Dispatch Support on a 9-month fixed term basis. In this role, you will provide a range of administrative tasks in the scheduling to dispatch team, contributing to Cadent’s overall business objectives. The Planning to Dispatch team provides essential support to engineers who attend routine maintenance work on the network for a gas emergency or planned work.
What you’ll get to work on
· Accountable for the end to end process of raising and dispatching all reactive fault work within a timely manner to agreed SLA's
· Deliver a ‘right first time’ service to all customers that interact with Cadent
· Resolve customer enquiries and complaints from both internal and external customers, providing written, face to face or telephone response as appropriate in a timely manner
· Contribute towards first contact resolution with customers, avoiding potential escalations
· Demonstrate an inclusive work ethic
· Maintain accurate data records and reporting
· Assist in the administration of ‘Scheduling to Dispatch’ activities, in line with guidelines, procedures and training; and the delivery of training of new staff where appropriate to ensure consistency of approach and compliance with standard processes and procedures
· Participate in the measurement of individual and team objectives, to enable the business performance gaps to be identified and improved
· Work well with and rely upon the members of your team
Who are we looking for
· Previous experience in a dispatch or resource planning role
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
· High standard of data entry and data management skills
· Competent in the use of Microsoft Office desktop packages
· Ability to use other core systems (SAP, ClickSoftware)
· Ability to work within a regulated environment (due to nature of Cadent’s business) and can follow defined procedures and policies
· Logical and proactive approach to problem solving
· High attention to detail
· Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities in response to business demands
· Effective prioritisation and time management
