What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage tow truck resources and assign work to optimize productivity and achieve on-time performance
- Plan future resource requirements and coordinate with towers to ensure availability
- Identify additional resources from part-time networks when demand exceeds capacity
- Recruit new towers to expand tow networks
- Provide necessary documentation to drivers for each pickup and delivery
- Monitor work-in-progress and make necessary adjustments for timely performance
- Review driver records for completeness and accuracy, taking corrective action as needed
- Communicate driver problems or potential problems to the management team
- Establish and maintain positive working relations with tow drivers
- Perform other assigned duties
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
- 1 year of related or transferrable experience
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong judgment and decision-making skills
- Positive and professional demeanor
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Comfortable with technology and proficient in MS Office
- Dispatch experience and/or knowledge of DOT and safety regulations (preferred)
