      Disputes by Phone Representative
      Hamilton, OH

      As a Barclays Dispute by Phone Representative, you will be interacting with customers who contact the bank regarding a billing error or are raising a dispute regarding a transaction posted to their credit card account. You will correspond with customers via mail, phone and online channels. The processing of disputes will require you to make outbound calls to obtain information from customers when needed or advice of case resolution. You will be required to take incoming calls to accept notification of billing errors as well as to explain the disputes process.

      What will you be doing?

      • You will be responsible for a high volume of caseloads, in some periods you will be actively managing up to 100 cases
      • Maintaining departmental standards, across production, quality and aging
      • Protecting our customer’s federal regulated consumer rights regarding billing error inquiries
      • Determining chargeback rights available, in accordance with association regulations

      What we’re looking for:

      • 1 years’ experience within a banking or call-center environment
      • Excellent analytical skills
      • Computer literate proficient PC skills

      Skills that will help you in the role:

      • 1 years’ disputes or chargeback experience preferred
      • Knowledge of credit card processing and of association (MasterCard/Visa/AMEX) chargeback regulations
      • Knowledge of Reg Z and Reg E
      • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills, with a proven ability to work independently
