What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with the Distance Learning team to develop and recommend lab courses supporting customers' learning outcomes
- Create digital components for existing labs to enhance course content
- Write, film, edit, and publish digital learning videos
- Assist customers with the implementation of online science courses and troubleshoot integration issues
- Perform Quality and User Acceptance Testing of new digital products
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field such as computer science, information systems, or instructional design
- 3-5 years of experience with Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Acrobat, and web files (HTML, CSS, and CSV)
- One year of experience with Higher Ed Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Blackboard, Canvas, D2L, or Moodle
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Deep content knowledge in science or related areas
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Additional degree in science or related content expertise
- Experience with Agile development and leadership
- Experience as an LMS administrator
- Familiarity with Articulate Storyline
- Project Management training or experience
