- CDL Driver’s License (or obtained within first 6 months)
- Knowledge of proper use of tools and cleaning equipment used in maintenance and custodial work and ability to operate equipment. HVAC and/or Electrical knowledge and experience preferred.
- Ability to read and understand instructions and maintenance specifications
- Ability to use good judgment
- Knowledge of safety procedures and practices relating to custodial and maintenance duties
- Knowledge of hazardous materials
- Knowledge of “Material Safety Data Sheet” and ability to understand and put in practice the information
- Knowledge of “Right to Know, Hazardous Communications Legislation”
- Knowledge of “Blood Borne Pathogen” restrictions
- Regular attendance following designated work schedule
- Ability to work different shifts as the job requires
- Ability to attend meetings/conferences as scheduled by the District
- Ability to meet and confer with individuals or groups concerning technical cleaning problems.
- Requires lifting/handling of supplies and equipment.
- Ability to work around dust, fumes, and other exposures related to the job.
- Not present a risk of injury to self or others while engaged in school district duties.
- Low to moderate.
- Must be able to successfully deal with changes in assignments and properly respond to complaints.
- Perform maintenance of the assigned district buildings, fixtures, furniture, and equipment such as HVAC, lighting, minor electrical/ plumbing, compressors, etc.
- Perform carpentry, framing, or similar type work as needed.
- Light remodels of classroom or office spaces when appropriate.
- Ground maintenance as needed.
- Routine facility maintenance as required (to include strip/wax tile floors when needed, roof repairs, moving of furniture, preparing for classroom/office relocations, etc.)
- Work cooperatively with supervisor.
- Turn lights off in unused areas, report vandalism, damage, items needing repair, or unusual conditions to campus directors and/or supervisor.
- Participate in periodic evaluation of performance.
- Assist campus level maintenance staff with work/projects.
- Fuel school vehicles, maintain a record on each, and service when needed.
- Perform substitute teaching or bus driving as needed
- It is expected for employee to be on time each workday as this is essential to the employee’s job.
- Other jobs/tasks as described and requested by administrator.
- Make suggestions for improving the productivity and performance of duties.
- May be asked to become a teacher assistant in a program when the need is determined.
- Recommend products and equipment needed to improve quality of performance of duties.
- Order supplies and services, complete with all necessary paperwork, to perform assigned tasks.
- Perform such other duties and assume such other responsibilities as directed by supervisor.

LENGTH OF CONTRACT:
Twelve month (Schedule ST; STP with OK Journeyman Mechanical License; STP 12 + Stipend with OK Mechanical Contractor license & placed in ICTC’s name)
