      Basic Job Functions:

      The District Sales Manager (DSM) role is a sales leadership position within Vulcraft/Verco Group. The DSM’s primary responsibility is to maximize the long-term success of Nucor by developing their team, creating & implementing a market strategy, and building strong/engaged partnerships. This role calls for a high level of collaboration with sales and non-sales teammates across the entire Vulcraft/Verco Group in order to drive enterprise-wide results. The DSM must be willing and able to travel.

      Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

      Minimum Requirements:

      • Willingness & ability to relocate to Utah
      • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word
      • Two years sales or management experience in the steel or construction industry

      • Organization: Develop systems, processes, and expectations that allow high volumes of work to be completed in a sustainable, consistent, high quality, and commercially excellent manner

      Preferences:

      • Two or four year degree in business, sales, marketing, construction management, engineering, or related field
      • Mobility for future advancement opportunities
