What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Audit and investigate services and transactions provided to DMV customers to identify and reduce potential fraud
- Serve as the DMV program expert on internal control procedures and cash/inventory management
- Review, improve, and develop transaction review processes and compliance procedures
- Interact with diverse business partners to gather and analyze information
- Write reports and disseminate information to stakeholders
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Experience gathering and analyzing information from business partners
- Experience interacting with diverse groups of internal and external partners
- Experience writing reports, letters, and bulletins
- Training or experience with computer software programs including Microsoft Suite and Document Management systems
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in auditing or compliance-related tasks
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience interpreting open records laws and regulations
- Experience presenting complex information to varied audiences
- Experience developing audit criteria and compiling results for reporting
