- Confirms that application and business requirements have been translated into technical definitions, reference models, blueprints, and playbooks to guide development and integration of technology solutions
- Contributes to the creation/selection of functional and non-functional product evaluation requirements within and across domains
- Reviews and may develop software solutions to address manual and repeatable work or inefficient processes
- Reviews and guides the evaluation of reference models, blueprints, playbooks and the execution of on-site evaluations of third-party products being considered for firm adoption
- Mentors and assists Infrastructure resources on infrastructure service along with application integration validation methods and tools to ensure that technology solutions comply with enterprise system design and engineering standards
- Promotes an inclusive and healthy working environment and help to resolve organizational impediments/blockers
- 10+ years’ technical experience in WAN/LAN, Routing (BGP & OSPF), and Switching
- Strong CISCO and ARISTA hardware experience and general experience in Network Automation tools and processes
- Demonstrate good computer skills and the use of various applications such as MS Office, MS Visio
- Cisco certification
- Implementation using Arista CloudVision
- Skills in Scripting: Python, Ansible, PowerShell
- Adhere to global design authority processes and procedures
- Ability to assemble professional documents and artifacts
- Knowledge and experience using (both reactively and productive) advanced tooling. Includes but is not limited to Sniffer/wire Shark, Prognosis, SolarWinds, HP NA/OpsWare/OpenView, etc.

Job Description:
This job is responsible for infrastructure tool/service designs within technical domains in accordance with architectural governance, standards and policies. Key responsibilities include facilitating deployment of tools/services by leading others in solution development, maintenance of templates, playbooks and automation used during implementation. Job expectations include demonstrating expertise within technical domains, decomposing issues or objectives into work units, advancing efficient solution delivery practices, and promoting exceptional design, engineering and organizational practices.The role of the Data Center and DMZ Network Implementation Engineer Lead is to provide technical implementation services to support the evolution and ongoing support of the IP Network in response to projects (all types), upgrades, service and feature enhancements and for remediation/break-fix services. The work is always in alignment to the current and approved architectural, roadmaps, technology standards and templates, governance and change management policies set forth by the firm. While the role primarily has an implementation and validation engineering focus, a strong understanding of design engineering concepts is required.
This position is part of a global solutions and service delivery organization and will interface with several collaborators: internal and external customers/suppliers/providers; architecture, product engineering, product management, finance and business management and operations teams. At times, they may interface with various levels of senior management. Strong written, verbal and presentation skills are a must. The candidate must be able to work on their own and successfully in team settings of various sizes and locations. Adherence and use of standards, product sets, templates, systems, and artifacts are important to the success of the engineer, the department, and the firm at large.
