      The Opportunity

      EY Trinidad is offering an intriguing opportunity for a Document and Administrative Support Specialist within the Enterprise Support Services department. The incumbent will apply advanced knowledge and technical skills of standard business and firm applications. This specialist role will involve developing and editing documents with speed and accuracy, as well as assisting with printing and duplication as needed. The role is responsible for general administrative support to the department as required and will assist various internal teams with all phases of project management, including customer service, proper documentation, and effective communications.

      Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

      • Supporting a variety of deliverables using very strong language skills, advanced technical skills and exceptional business application skills (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat )
      • Producing template-based content in preparation for incoming requests
      • Supporting the team with data input, editing, formatting, mail merging and revisions to client reports, engagement letters, management letters and other documents, and this includes reviewing of grammar, spelling, punctuation and checks for mathematical accuracy where required
      • Assisting with creative design of communications, such as incorporating graphic and data images into documents
      • Preparing files for print or electronic delivery, performing standard electronic file management and print production
      • Supporting the coordination of internal or external communications for various projects or events
      • Maintaining inventory of document processing materials (paper stocks, binding material, etc.)
      • Maintaining compliance with all firm technology tools and processes
      • Adhering to firm’s quality standards, branding guidelines and other firm-related procedures

      Skills and Attributes

      • Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, PowerPoint
      • Ability to apply existing templates/standards to new/existing documents
      • Proficient in statistical input of data (e.g. numbers, text, tables) and exceptional attention to quality and detail
      • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills to be able to collaborate and work well with teams locally and globally
      • Ability to translate requests clearly and ask better questions to meet desired outcomes of the various teams
      • Exceptional time management skills and an ability to work on multiple projects at a time

      Requirements

      • Bachelors or Associate degree in Management Studies, Mass Communications or English Language, or a related area would be considered an asset
      • Certification in Professional Writing, Marketing, Communications or related discipline will be considered an asset
      • Minimum 4-5 years of related experience. Background in Accounting/Finance industry would be valuable
