      The Document Execution Specialist is responsible for accurately reviewing and executing documents as it pertains to the Default Loan process. This position will work externally with vendors and clients, as well as internally with other business units, to manage the document requests and update the systems in a timely manner according to all standard procedures.

      Responsibilities:

      • Accurately updates systems, such as Director (fka Black Knight MSP), LoanSphere FC (fka LPS Desktop PM) to ensure controls are met and procedures are followed
      • Manages a pipeline of document requests on a timely basis; manages performance of timelines by holding vendors / firms accountable for results
      • Reviews all vendor / client / business requests and partner to meet their needs as it pertains to Document Execution
      • Reviews documents prepared by the firms and vendors for accuracy, and executes with personal knowledge
      • Travels and appears in a court deposition attesting to affidavit signed by personal knowledge on an as needed basis
      • Upon business need must be willing and eligible to become a notary public for Cenlar use
      • With great attention to detail, uses PDF creator and Snipping Tools to gather evidence of facts and figures to support personal knowledge in all documents
      • Grows and maintains a general working knowledge of the various businesses and functions in the life of a mortgage loan going through default to enhance understanding of document execution that supports those businesses and functions
      • Effectively communicates on the state foreclosure requirements assigned and the documents necessary to perform such actions
      • Organizes a day of multiple tasks, reports, and processes to ensure they are executed against the highest priority of items
      • Conducts quality review of peers’ documents and certifies with accuracy to ensure all procedures are followed
      • Reviews peers’ work for accuracy and effectively communicates errors identified in a professional manner
      • Leads conference calls with local firms to cover issues and address concerns
      • Trains peers or new hires on the Document Execution procedures based upon business need
      • Prints, scans, and prepares shipping materials to send documents both physically and electronically to the firms and vendors
      • Must be available to work in both a remote and in office hybrid job based upon business need
      • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, include but not limited to compliance and operational risk. Demonstrate consideration for Cenlar’s reputation as well as our clients, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards

      Qualifications:

      • High school diploma or GED required
      • Must complete 6 months of service prior to being able to sign documents
      • Highly effective written, verbal and communications
      • Proficient math skills
      • Knowledge of FHA, VA, PMI, FNMA, FHLMC rules and regulations required
      • Knowledge of Black Knight systems LoanSphere FC (fka LPS Desktop PM) and Director (fka MSP) preferable

      It is critical that you have an understanding of the following:

      • Requirements under the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), specifically general servicing standards and loss mitigation practices.
      • Requirements under the Service members Civil Relief Act (SCRA), specifically protections for Service members.
